My name is Emily Occhiuto (O-Q-toe) and I am originally from Ohio. I went to Beloit College in Wisconsin and received my BA in Anthropology and Museum Studies. After working in museums for over 8 years, I went back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Education. I have taught in the Denver area for 15 years and am going on my 7th year in DPS.  In my free time, I enjoy being outside, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family. My husband is also a teacher in DPS and both of my kids attend DPS schools.
