Hi! I am Kate Hunter and I have been teaching since 2004, and teaching at Merrill since 2013. I went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education for Math and Science. I later received my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Regis University. I live in Littleton with my husband Eric, my son Connor (Connor Joe!), and our dogs Rufio and Rey. I have been to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama three times and I am also a huge Disney fan. I don’t actually like or enjoy running, but I have completed 2 Disney half marathons and 3 Disney challenges (10k and half marathon on back-to-back days) because it means I get to dress up in costumes and come home with fun medals.
