The Eating Disorder Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to assisting the community with education, support, and advocacy initiatives to help people with eating disorders, their families, and friends rebuild well-balanced lives. Services are free to all – regardless of income, insurance, health status, weight, diagnosis, race, gender, or sexual identity. Disordered eating behaviors and eating disorders are not a choice. They develop due to an individual’s genetics, social environment, and psychological health. Recovery is possible. Learn with the EDF community about body image, eating disorders, disordered eating, early detection, treatment options, support, and how to aid in prevention efforts.
