We are supporting the Seven Habits of a Highly Successful Merrill!
Our 7 Habits:
1. Excellence in Academics Funds support Department Grants, Apps/Software, Teacher Development, Learning Materials, ELA, GT, Special Ed, Learning Interventionists, and Continued Curriculum for and Literature Updates for Novels and Lit Circles
2. Varied, High-Quality, Electives, Enrichments and Clubs Funds support Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Elective, Materials and Supplies, 3rd Party providers, Club stipends for teachers
3. Upgrading and Improving our Facility and Learning Environment Funds support Furniture Upgrades, Outside Garden, Outdoor Tables, Trees for Shade, a new
sound system/speakers and microphones in our auditorium
4. Providing External Learning Experiences Funds support school wide excursions such as Meow Wolf last year, and Field Trips aligned with Units of Study
5. Implementing Technology and STEM
Funds support Updating/Maintaining Classroom Technology, Chrome Books, STEM Lab Upgrades, etc.
6. Promoting Athletics, Wellness and Mental Health Funds support providing athletic opportunities for all kids who want to participate via parent-run
clubs as needed to meet demand, equipment and uniforms, advisement wellness education support, and additional Mental Health staff
7. Creating Community
Funds support events like the Student Dances, 8th Grade Continuation and more

Good Afternoon, Jaguar Families!
Just a reminder that ALL families, new to Merrill or continuing, need to complete the Annual Family Update (registration) every year. This can be done online in the Portal (directions available in English and Spanish) or in person this Wednesday, August 6th from 11am-6pm and Thursday, August 7th from 9am-4pm.
Student Schedules will be available in the Portal this Friday, August 8th!
