I have been in education for all of my adult life, and I LOVE learning! I am the proud and humbled principal of Merrill Middle School (the BEST middle school). I attended Metro, CU Denver, LSU and DU for Social Sciences, Secondary Education, Cultural Anthropology, and Educational Leadership and Policy Reform. I believe that every student comes with their own unique brilliance and has so much to share. I have worked as a teacher and leader at Merrill, CKAP, Rachel B. Noel, West Leadership Academy, Denver Discovery School and I’m now back at Merrill. I lead through my values of Community, Diversity, Equity, Celebration and Integrity. I have prioritized creating safe and successful spaces for every type of learner.
