Technology

At Merrill, we have many opportunities to use technology.  We have 4 computer labs, in addition to the library lab; one with 20 Macs, one with 35 iMacs, and another with 20 more iMacs. Teachers sign these out for whole or partial class use.

We also have:

• 2 mobile labs with 30 Dell Netbooks each that can be used for our skills classes or checked out for other purposes

• 28 Promethean Boards (smart boards)

• Several mobile carts with document cameras, LCD projectors, and laptops

• Various cameras- video and digital- for projects by the students

• A set of “clickers” and classroom performance software that our science teachers use

• Most importantly we have a full-time support member of the Merrill staff to keep all the technology in tip-top shape
