Ms. Larson enjoys student successes as they design and conduct science experiments, improve their reading comprehension and writing skills, and become more independent individuals. Ms. Larson spent 7 years as a Reading Assistant Paraprofessional before coming to Merrill Middle School as a Science Teacher 6 years ago. She has a BA in Biology, Minor in Chemistry from the University of San Diego and a MS in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado, Denver. When not teaching, Ms. Larson loves to spend time with family.

Ms. Nieto is in her first year teaching at Merrill Middle School. She enjoys absolutely everything about teaching here. She holds a Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry and completed three years of Medical school at Duke University School of Medicine, giving her a unique perspective in the classroom. Her hobbies include her children, gardening, hiking, and travel.

Ms. Olson has been an educator for 8 years and a MESA Advisor for 7 years. The diverse international population is what she enjoys most about teaching at Merrill. She has Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in chemistry, secondary science teacher’s license from Colorado Christian University. She holds a Masters in Curriculum and Science from the University of Colorado at Denver.
