Students will be learning about cells and single cell organisms.
Our Genes, Our Selves
Students will be learning about DNA, genes and the influence these genes have on who they are.
Trimester 3
Ecosystems
Students will explore different ecosystems, what is needed in an ecosystem and the life that is present in ecosystems.
Evolution
Students will be investigating how organisms adapt for survival. |

Trimester 1 Project:
A Body System: students create a model of a body system and describe how it works, what is in the system and what can go wrong with the system.
Trimester 2 Project:
Cells and Genes: students will create a 3D model of a cell and its functions along with a personal genetic family tree.
Trimester 3 Project:
Science Fair Project: students design their own project. |
