Pre-AP Honors Math Curriculum
Units/Materials/Expectations

The honors math curriculum is an in-depth approach focusing on application of key concepts.  Students in the honors program will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of mathematical standards by doing unit projects, presentations and extended writing with an analytical focus.

Students will complete the 7 regular CMP units along with two additional units.
Ruins of Montarek: creating 2-D and 3-D models of objects
Data Around Us: estimating and calculating with large numbers, population density

Successful completion of the honors math program will prepare students for accelerated and honors courses in the future.
