| Being a library assistant is a great opportunity for students. Library assistants help with shelving, check-in of books, Display windows, cleaning and dusting, and other library-related duties. While being a library assistant may seem like a fun way to get out of an electives class, it is, in fact a job and you are expected to apply for the position. Recruits who meet the following criteria may work as a library assistant during their electives hour.
To be a library Assistant, you must meet the following criteria:
· A’s and B’s on your report card · Permission note from your parent/guardian · A one-page letter of application · Three references (from your teachers)
If you are interested in becoming a library assistant, come into the library and the librarian will explain the application process to you.
