Students are not allowed to use the telephone during the school day.  School staff, such as the secretary, school nurse, counselor or an administrator, may decide that a situation calls for an exception and may allow a student to use the telephone in his or her presence.  Communication between parents and children must be conducted in person at home or at school if necessary.  The school does not have staff to deliver phone messages, however;  messages will be given to students only in extreme emergencies.
