Students are to be at school and in class on time, every day. Parents/guardians and students share the responsibility for being at school on time. Daily attendance is critical to a student’s learning and academic success.
If a student is absent due to illness or family emergency, the parent/guardian should call the attendance number and inform the school of the reason for the absence. Students may not call in an absence. If the parent/guardian does not call in, the school will call the student’s family to inform them of the absence. The attendance hotline is (720) 424-0605.
Students who are absent or suspended are responsible for all missed assignments. No assignments are ever automatically excused due to absence. It is the student’s responsibility to ask for and complete the missed assignments.
